El-Seif Engineering Contracting has successfully expanded it’s operations to include the State of Qatar and are directly involved as Main Contractor for the Construction of a series of buildings for the accommodation of single Nurses and family quarters of Hamad Medical Hospital Staff.
Comprised of 871 accommodation units with a built up area of 275,000 square meter, the buildings heights range from five to nine stories. The residential zones of the Asian Games Village described above which is under execution by El-Seif will be exclusively used by 10,000 athletes and several thousands officials taking part of the 15th Asian Games in December 2006 and then shall be reconfirmed to suit the end user Hamad Medical Corporation.
The works are divided into three packages namely CP301 (a) for the structural works of Nurses Hostel Housing, CP302 (a) for the structural works of Married Staff Accommodation and CP303 for the Completion works of both structural packages.
The structural packages consist of earthworks, substructure and superstructure works of reinforced concrete foundations and columns and post tensioned concrete slabs. The completion works under CP303 package consist of all finishing works, cladding with pre-cast concrete panels and central glass features, all electromechanical works, tiling, aluminum works, BMS, elevators, hard and soft landscaping, car parking at ground levels in the Married Staff buildings, courtyards for families, infrastructure works and of construction Mosque and boundary walls.
